B.A.S.I.C Tutoring Presents Monthly Math Mixer
This is a Math workshop, taught by Certified Math Teachers. It is designed to cultivate Algebraic minds. Each session will provide strategies for solving equations, note taking tips, & study skills. Limited class/ home work assistance will also be available.
Sessions will be held every 4th Saturday from 10 AM- Noon (beginning October 25, 2008) at the Robert E. Fulton Library, 5090 Abbotts Bridge Rd, Alpharetta, GA.

Many students need assistance maintaining and developing an organizational system. B.A.S.I.C. will work with each student on balancing expectations effectively. The B.A.S.I.C. goal for each student is:

Identify the learning style and study methods that work effectively for each individual
Study Skills:
Study & organizational skills are critical for all students. Both skills are very difficult to learn and use appropriately. B.A.S.I.C. aims to develop both by instructing students on:
Setting & achieving goals
Note taking skills
Interpreting the curriculum objectives
Effective questioning
Writing Skills:
Writing proves to be a challenge for many students. B.A.S.I.C. provides tutorial covering all 6 main writing skills, proper sentence construction, as well as paragraph and essay development. Such skills will ensure the students' success on the standardized writing assessments.
B.A.S.I.C also has Educational Software available. The software may be used to supplement and enhance any of the services we provide.
